During the Everyday Companion training programs, we emphasize building a strong leadership role with your dog. Through various leadership exercises, your dog will develop a clear understanding of who to follow. These exercises are reinforced daily throughout the training. We also focus on helping each owner embrace their role as the pack leader, providing guidance on how to effectively take on this responsibility.

Every dog that works with Everyday Companion looks to us as a strong leader, not a harsh one! Through balanced training, we create a harmonious approach to dog training, building confidence in each dog with consistent leadership. We use positive reinforcement techniques such as eye contact, verbal praise, playtime, and scratches to encourage good behavior. When corrections are needed, we ensure they are delivered gently and respectfully. Each dog is treated with the same love and leadership we give our own family dogs, fostering a devoted and eager student in return.

Throughout the Everyday Companion training programs, we clearly and continuously reinforce our expectations and boundaries with your dog, ensuring accountability at every step. Upon completion, we conduct a knowledge transfer session for owners, offering essential guidance on how to maintain these practices at home.

Everyday Companion training programs handles the bulk of training time! To ensure success after a dog's graduation, we ask owners to reinforce training through a minimum of one structured walk of 15 minutes and focus on at least 10 minutes of command practice daily. Continued results will follow!
